Butting are one of the world’s leading manufacturers of longitudinally welded stainless steel pipes, fittings and vessels. AFF are partnered with Butting in Australia, specializing their clad piping range.

Clad pipes comply with the most stringent requirements of strength, corrosion resistance and cost effectiveness. Generally the outer part of the pipes is in carbon steel to control the inside pressures, whereas the inner high alloyed cladding of the pipe is meant to protect against corrosion.

BUTTING is the only mill in Europe using two different processes:

• mechanically bonded pipes (BuBi®-pipe)
• metallurgically clad pipes

Both production processes have been used by BUTTING for many years. Many projects all over the world rely on the customary BUTTING quality.
